SALA 2020 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS CLOSING DATE POSTPONED TO 29TH MAY 2020
Due to the Covid19 Lockdown in South Africa, which affected our books submission process, the South African Literary Awards took a decision to extend the call for submissions period for a month, moving the closing date to 29th May 2020.
While the announcement of the shortlist remains unchanged for 30th September and the awards ceremony on the 7th November, the situation will depend on the developments as per our government’s steps regarding the pandemic.
We thus wish to state that these dates may also change in accordance with any given developments in this regard.
